Our professionally trained Customer Care staff is ready to assist each member via our toll-free number(s) for dental 1-800-342-5209, for VCP Plan Vision 1-800-865-3676. The following types of assistance are typically handled by the Customer Care Department:- Provides members with information regarding the certificate of benefits
- Provides information and assistance to members regarding the dental network
- Assists members who want to convert from group to non-group coverage
- Assists members in obtaining second opinions upon request
- Assists members in obtaining emergency dental services
- Assists members in resolving issues with dental offices
- Assists members with the formal grievance process
In order to facilitate a direct link between member concerns and the Quality Management program, Customer Care issues are monitored continuously by our Professional Relations Department. Utilizing the combined efforts of our Customer Care and Professional Relations staff, we closely monitor responsiveness and accuracy through direct daily involvement and periodic member satisfaction surveys.
